Phantoms' Pain moves. Not always in the direction you expect.
This is the most structurally complex album in the RaveCore catalogue, time signatures that shift, percussion layers that build and collapse, melodic themes that appear and disappear like something half-remembered. The pain in the title is earned.
Phantom Signals
The album started as an experiment with phantom sounds, tones that exist at the edge of perception, rhythms that suggest a pattern but don't quite commit to it. That instability is the point.
The Production
Built over several months of late sessions, Phantoms' Pain went through more revisions than any previous album. Every time a track felt finished, something pulled it apart again. The result is an album that sounds like it's constantly in the process of becoming.
